To clean a tempered glass dining table surface, spray a non-abrasive glass cleaner onto a lint free cloth and gently rub the glass in a circular motion. Then with a dry microfibre cloth, buff the surface until it's dry. Alternatively, you can also use lukewarm water and dish soap to give the table a good clean. In this case, make sure you wipe away the soapy residue from glass to avoid leaving water marks. Never place or use abrasive materials on the table as this will scratch its beautifully smooth surface. As with all of our dining tables, we always suggest using placemats and coasters as this gives the table surface an extra layer of protection.
When cleaning the chrome finishes, use soap and water on a soft cloth and if the mark still doesn't go away, we suggest using a splash of vinegar to give your cleaning that extra boost. Waxing chrome after a good clean is also very useful if you want to keep its high shine for even longer. There are a whole range of chrome cleaning products available so it's a very easy material finish to clean and maintain.
To put the Tiva Large Glass and Chrome Dining Table together, the long thread bolts go through the legs and fasten to the table top. It's not a hard piece to construct but being glass means it is VERY heavy, so make sure you have enough people to help carry and hold the glass when constructing this dining table.

The rectangular table top of the Tiva is made from 12mm thick tempered glass. Tempered glass is incredibly strong and very durable, making it an ideal material choice for something used as often as a dining table.

The 4 legs of the Tiva are finished in a shiny modern chrome. This complements the sleek modern finish of the glass top while also giving you a stylish finish to coordinate with other finishes in your interior.

This modern glass dining table is 180cm x 90cm, so you can easily seat 6 to 8 dinner guests, with 2 chairs on either end of the table. This makes the Tiva ideal for both everyday dining and for when you have a few extra guests to seat.
04. Extra Reinforcement
The metal plates holding the housing for the legs to be screwed to are attached to the tempered glass top using a UV bonded adhesive strong seal. This again makes the table incredibly strong, sturdy and durable, despite its slim and streamlined appearance.

A glass table top will gently reflect the light throughout your dining space, while its transparency creates a feeling of spaciousness. This is a great feature to have on a larger dining table as it still keeps the space looking open and light, despite the table itself taking up a larger amount of space.
